THE ACE CAFÉ

London

The Ace Café was basically a transport café situated on the North Circular Road in North London. It became a meeting point for motorcyclists during the 50s and 60s and was the place to go. It served its last egg and chips in 1969 but was re-opened in 1997. Great effort has been made to keep the original feel of the place intact. It's a great place to visit and members of Centre 13 often spend an evening soaking up the atmosphere.

The “Ace” has a fantastic history which of course is detailed with some great pictures on the official website.

We will be going along to the Ace Café on the Sunday rideout for maybe a spot of lunch or just a cup of tea. It's not too far from our Rally Venue and not the most interesting rides but I think you will find its worth taking a look. What's more, you could be back for the carvery at the Rally venue in no time at all!!
